A retired couple in Bethesda, MD is seeking a meticulous and experienced Laundress to provide expert care for their clothing, linens, and household laundry. This is a full-time position for a professional who understands fine garment care, fabric-specific laundering techniques, and wardrobe organization.
The role includes handling all laundry and wardrobe-related responsibilities, including washing, pressing, steaming, mending, and organizing. The couple values a high standard of presentation and cleanliness, and are looking for someone who is attentive, proactive, and takes pride in their work. The schedule will consist of five working days per week, including one weekend day and four weekdays.
The couple maintains a calm, respectful, and well-organized home and appreciates staff who bring professionalism, consistency, and discretion to their work. Their home is fully staffed, and they value individuals who are collaborative, self-directed, and take initiative without needing constant oversight.
